4 new sunny destinations by Transavia
This summer Transavia will offer 4 new destinations from Brussels. To make this possible the Dutch airline will station one of their B737-800 aircrafts at our airport starting 30 June 2022. Just in time to bring passengers 6 times a week to Alicante, 4 times a week to Ibiza and Faro and 2 times a week to Heraklion.
 
TUI fly adds Aruba to tropical portfolio
Aruba
As from 3 April 2022, TUI fly will further expand its portfolio of Caribbean routes through the addition of the tropical isle of Aruba. The route will be operated weekly via Santo Domingo with the B787-8. This summer TUI fly will also open two new European destinations: Ohrid (North Macedonia) and Zadar (Croatia).
 
SWISS connects Geneva-Brussels daily
Swiss Airlines
With the start of the summer schedule, SWISS will take over the regular night stop flight of Brussels Airlines in Geneva. They will offer a daily flight to Brussels with their A220-300. Brussels Airlines will continue to operate the other flights.
 
From Brussels Airport to…
the Alpine region
This month Brussels Airport is connected to 5 destinations in the Alpine region. SWISS operates 19 weekly flights to Zurich. Brussels Airlines and easyJet offer respectively 20 and 7 weekly flights to Geneva. Both Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines operate 13 weekly flights to Vienna. On top of this, Transavia recently launched 2 weekly flights to Innsbruck and Sky Alps flies 2 times a week to Bolzano.

Antwerp
The city of Antwerp has been the undisputed diamond capital of the world for more than 5 centuries. This Belgian city hosts many diamond dealers, diamond bourses and jewelers. Nowadays approximately 80% of the world’s rough diamonds pass through Antwerp as well as 50% of all cut diamonds. It goes without saying that Antwerp is a place of profound importance for the international diamond trade. The diamond district lies next to the central station and is a few minutes’ walk from Meir, the primary shopping street in Antwerp.
